The **Head Chef** will oversee all kitchen operations at our pizzeria and deli, from menu development to staff management, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and innovation. You will play a key role in shaping our pizzeria’s identity, balancing authentic and modern approaches to pizza making while maintaining a high standard of food safety and customer satisfaction.

**Keg Responsibilities**:

- Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and refine the pizzeria menu, focusing on fresh ingredients and innovative recipes
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently excellent
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment according to health and safety standards
- Control food costs by managing inventory, reducing waste, and optimizing supply orders
- Innovate and introduce seasonal and special menu items to keep the offerings fresh and exciting
- Provide leadership and foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

**Qualifications**:

- **3+ years of experience as a chef**, preferably with a strong background in pizzerias.
- Proven leadership skills with **experience managing kitchen staff and operations**:

- Passion for creating outstanding food and a commitment to excellence
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety protocols, and operational efficiency
- Ability to develop and execute creative menu items, keeping up with food trends
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of food cost management and portion control
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be **legally eligible to work in Canada** and either reside in the local area or be willing to commute.
