Integrated Tools Specialist

**What is the opportunity?**

As the Integrated Tools Specialist, you will be accountable for assisting in the implementation, testing and management of the Individual Markets integrated tools to ensure alignment with short
- and long-term enterprise objectives and the effective management of each solution through its’ life cycle. Integrated tools include, but are not limited to, RBC Illustrations, eApplications, and online quoting tools. You will also support revenue enhancement and prudent NIAT growth. Furthermore, in this role, you will clearly support the attainment of our strategic objectives and greatly influence the brand reputation for RBC Life Insurance Company.

**What will you do?**
- Develop test plans: consult and coordinate with Product Managers and other groups within RBC Insurance including Project Management, IT Actuarial, Business Integration.
- Develop and execute test cases to assess if the system can support day-to-day business and user scenarios and ensure the system is sufficient and correct for business usage, pre and post-implementation.
- Analyze industry software trends to ensure that software is proactively developed as a comprehensive, technologically advanced tool for all distribution channels, contributing to the achievement of our annual marketing and sales plans.
- Assist to ensure illustration software compliance with all regulatory/legislative guidelines and the Company’s Security, Privacy, and any other technical guidelines in place.
- Assist on projects / enhancements to identify/analyze requirements.
- Coordinate reviews with Legal, Compliance and Translation as required.
- Provide pre and post implementation testing (this could include working non-business hours).
- Provide additional support to the Individual Markets teams as assigned.

**Must-have**
- Minimum two years’ experience in technical/testing experience
- University degree or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, handling varied and changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication/written/presentation skills

**Nice to Have**
- Exposure to/familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Bilingual - fluency in both English and French
