**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Associate Director and Director of International Recruitment, the Regional Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership in showcasing and raising Centennial’s profile as the provider of quality educational programs in South Asia Markets. The incumbent is accountable for the implementation of strategic initiatives and aggressively recruiting international students to meet enrolment targets. The incumbent will also be involved in identifying and assisting in the development of new revenue opportunities in support of Centennial College’s academic vision for being an institution of choice for international students.

**Responsibilities**
- Provides strategic and advisory services for international recruitment strategies and operations to each enrolment and admission cycle designed for the regions in order to meet enrolment and revenue targets.
- Manages and leads both onshore and offshore (South Asia) recruitment and admission teams, and oversee a coordinated approach for a broad-range of activities as it applies to international recruitment, admissions and registration for international students.
- Collects, analyzes, and presents country/region analyses, data and benchmarking information that helps International Education and the College as a whole; works towards improvement and ultimately, making good decisions regarding admissions, confirmation and conversion activity.
- Responsible for pursuing and implementing new initiatives and strategies and building sustainable relationships with embassies, government agencies, institutional and community partners as it relates to recruitment and branding Centennial as an educational institution of choice in the region.
- Provides effective leadership, direction and guidance to their team and manages their activity by determining priorities and work assignments (including recruitment, selection, hiring, assignment of duties, training, motivation, evaluation, performance management, etc.) within a unionized environment.
- Utilizes effective channels to promote Centennial’s programs and services that will increase recognition and success of the recruitment strategy.
- Keeps attuned to the interests of international clients and monitors issues and/or challenges that may impede on recruitment success within region
- Actively recruit students through developing rapport with agents, prospective students and parents Responsible for acting in a manner that positively represents Centennial College by respecting the value of individuals and cultures of the assigned geographical region.
- Maintains and effectively applies knowledge of academic programs, offering, and pathways in recruitment planning, strategizing, and execution by liaising with Deans, Chairs, operations/recruitment staff, Program Coordinators, and faculty with the Academic Schools.
- Responsible for providing direction to staff on matters relating to policy, systems, procedures, and budget interpretations for international recruitment, admission, and registration matters.
