ROLE SUMMARY

Cybera is leading ground-breaking services that are changing the way education works. One of the key areas is managing shared services and collaboration for our education members on a provincial level through the Alberta ShareIT Program. This program leverages economies of scale to give members access to IT hardware, software, licensing, and services that are broader, more powerful, and cost-effective. It also offers valuable knowledge sharing, skill-building, and cybersecurity opportunities.

We are seeking an outgoing project coordinator/business analyst/supply chain specialist with strong facilitation skills to support ShareIT. The Project Lead will work closely with Cybera’s external stakeholders through managing multiple shared IT procurement initiatives. In addition, this person will also be responsible for managing other collaboration initiatives amongst and between Cybera education members.

The Project Lead will actively foster relationships with external stakeholders, manage and facilitate technical and procurement working groups to define scope of work, perform market analysis, and develop deliverables and business requirements. There will also be a heavy emphasis on vendor management, client service management and a variety of collaborative initiatives.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

- Lead and manage shared procurement initiatives, from opportunity identification through to contracting
- Facilitate and document scope of work, business objectives, and deliverables of IT procurement initiatives
- Manage and facilitate working group meetings for the service design and development, and evaluation phases of the procurement cycle
- Provide weekly project updating, status reporting, issue resolutions, etc
- Provide contract and customer relationship managementConduct market, cost-benefit, and risk analyses
- Identify industry trends in areas of IT hardware, licensing, software, and services
- Develop clear business cases, project scope of work, requirement-gathering approaches, and templates
- Organize and facilitate

What We're Looking For:

- Proven results-oriented project manager with experience managing projects from initiation to closure
- Post-secondary education in business analysis, project management, supply chain, communications, or equivalent
- Two years experience working in projects, preferably IT or procurement related
- Experience working with stakeholders on complex business and technical needs
- Experience preparing and delivering a variety of communication products/documentation e.g. presentations, progress/performance reports, briefing material, etc.
- Proven, exceptional facilitation skills
- Strong writing and effective communications skills
- Proven time-management and organizations skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interact and deal effectively with key stakeholders at all levels, including those at an executive level

Nice to Haves:

- Experience in the public sector, specifically with higher education and/or public education Experience leading provincial or national collaborative projects
- Working knowledge of public competitive procurement policies and procedures
- Experience with change management, time management, and team building is considered an asset.
- Experience with coordinating and facilitating small to large groups in virtual environments
- Experience with Mac computers and Google (G-Suite) environment or similar collaborative tools
- A sense of humour (really)

**Compensation and Location**:
Located in Calgary, AB, or Edmonton, AB.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. No relocation costs will be awarded.
