**Project Assistant**

**Position Summary**:
The Project Assistant will assist the Project Manager in the scheduling and coordinating of service work orders using Jobber software. The Project Assistant also organizes and coordinates office administration and procedures including administering the day-to-day accounting using Quick Books Software.

The successful Project Assistant is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of project management, administrative duties and executive support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Is well organized, flexible, and enjoys the challenges of a fast-paced office.

**Position Functions**:
Project Management

1. Sourcing materials for upcoming jobs

2. Sourcing and scheduling contractors for upcoming jobs

3. Confirming completion of sub-contractor work

4. Preparation of Completion Reports

5. Maintaining customer database

6. Maintaining in-house inventory

Administration

1. Maintaining filing system

2. Maintaining office supplies

Accounting

1. Generating invoices

2. Posting payments

3. Processing payments by cheque or ETF according to company processing timelines

Payroll

1. Consolidate hours and payroll data from Jobber
- Enter data into spreadsheet and enter payroll processing system
- Assist in responding to questions on payroll hours/payments to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Collect new hire paperwork

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a residential construction business
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an accounts receivable/payable/payroll position or office management role
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quick Books accounting software

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
