**As a Manager, Cloud Accounting Services your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting our clients to thrive with the financial information they need to manage their business operations, from financial reporting packages to developing and tracking industry specific KPI’s
- Leading and managing a portfolio of cloud accounting virtual finance function to support small and medium sized businesses across an array of industries
- Supporting our Independent Business Group (IBG) team members by successfully delivering on client’s financial needs from sales tax compliance, interim financial reporting, wealth check-ups with clients, and compiling client year-end information
- Working directly with Cloud Accounting systems and integrations to create efficient accounting solutions
- Manage client relationships and expectations while meeting our client service obligations
- Analyze and review client management reporting packages, budgeting, forecasting analysis, GST/HST returns, payroll filings, etc.
- Supervise, lead and mentor a cloud accounting team that supports our colleagues to grow and receive the best experience in the industry
- Actively contribute to the execution of the Firm’s strategy
- Contribute to new business development with Cloud services as well as by understanding all of Grant Thornton services
- Participate in the coaching and performance management process of the practice by conducting timely performance reviews, and providing ongoing feedback and training to develop team members

- A passion for technology and innovative thinking
- 5+ years progressive accounting related experience
- Experience in Cloud systems (for example, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, Plooto, Hubdoc, Wagepoint, Payworks, Approval Max, Spotlight Reporting)
- Experience integrating financial information from a third-party solution/CRM with a Cloud based accounting system
- Experience with cloud based payroll, payment processing and CRMs
- Superior technical expertise in accounting, privately held business, publicly listed companies, and non-profit experience considered an asset
- Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising, team development, and collaboration across teams
- Passion for seeing the success and development of a team
- CPA Designation is an asset but not a requirement
