Covéa Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Technical Lead to manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring a secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee cloud operations, strategy, and account management to support business needs for Covéa Insurance Group.
  • Collaborate with broader teams to strengthen and unify DevOps capabilities in line with a unified strategy, supporting product development.
  • Promote quality and best practices in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps methodologies.
  • Align technology and support practices with stakeholders across departments.
  • Provide guidance on architecture, design, coding standards, and security.
  • Manage configuration, resource allocation, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Represent the company externally at meetups and recruitment events.
Requirements
  • Expertise in building scalable, high-performance cloud architectures for business-critical applications and translating these visions into plans for development teams.
  • Experience managing and supporting highly available, business-critical software in the public cloud.
  • Experience leading or guiding teams and delivering successful projects; encouraging a learning environment where individuals excel.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and automated workflows; exposure to machine learning/big data tools.
  • Commitment to securing and implementing coding standards and practices, static code analysis, and non-functional testing to enhance software security and resilience.
  • Proactively plan to achieve targets and deliver profitable outcomes while continuously improving service quality in collaboration with other business areas.
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary of £75K per annum.
