Overview:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Business FP&A team in the position of Financial Analyst. The FP&A team provides supporting analysis required for the Close to Report process while directly interacting with the business leaders. Responsibilities include preparing the budgets, forecasts and financial reporting and analysis of the revenues, margins & spending for these organizations. This individual will monitor performance for the R&D organization to provide the analytics required to ensure plan commitments are met and advise management on any actions needed to address identified risks and opportunities to their business plans.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide guidance on expense management, productivity, budgeting, forecasting through financial analysis and ensuring creation of timely reports.- Directly accesses SAP, Planful (forecasting) and Workday to input and extract data to analyze information in support of the business.- Support the close process and review accruals and financial postings for completeness and comparison to forecast- Analyze data to understand trends and variances to prior periods/plan as part of month end results reporting. This includes analyzing data from a country and product view and determining best presentation format to drive message- Assist with preparation of Monthly & Quarterly Business Review Presentations to the Executive leaders.- Assists with compilation of monthly forecast using data from multiple systems.- Ad hoc analysis and reports, as required per business needs- Works special projects for continuous automation and efficiencies within financial tasks performed
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting; certifications are a plus- 1-2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting work experience (can include internships) preferred- Excellent to Expert in Excel and PowerPoint; Some experience building and managing complex financial models a plus- Strong work ethic - self-starter, motivated, eager to learn- Ability to work with large and disparate data sets from multiple sources/systems- High attention to detail, issue resolution and adaptable to change- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently under some guidance
