**Restaurant Manager**

Groupe Nordik is the leading creator of Nordic spas in North America. Since we first opened our doors in 2005 we have grown to approximately 500 000 visits per year from our 3 spas.

**What you will do**:
Nordik Spa-Nature's food services complement and elevate the experience of our guests. With 5 different dining options (Restö, Panorama Lounge, Mëzz Café, Biërgarden, Shack) the food service team extends the wellness ritual into a replenishing ritual. Locally sourced food and beverages, served by attentive artisans, bring the farm to the table.

The Restaurant Manager is a key ingredient in our artisan and guest experience. They are passionate about teamwork and have a strong sense of service excellence.

**Responsibilities**:
**Daily operations**
- Manage and coordinate the operations of the various service outlets (Restö, Panorama Lounge, Mëzz Café, Biërgarden, Shack),
- Manage, motivate, and develop food service teams
- Always ensure the health and safety of all employees and guests
- Ensure follow-ups during closures/openings and shift changes
- Create an engaging and energetic environment where all associates work as a high-performance team

**Administrative duties**
- Actively participate in the employee recognition program
- Ensure that all employees meet presentation standards (uniforms, personal hygiene, etc.)
- Recruit, select and train staff
- Perform performance management and disciplinary reviews of employees
- Maintain company standards and service levels to increase sales and contain costs
- Optimize revenue by developing strategies, practices, and promotions

**To succeed in this position, you will need**:

- A minimum of a post-secondary education
- A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in food service or customer service
- Bilingualism in French and English
