**Job Title**:

- Business Development Account Manager_

**Reports to**:

- Business Development Manager_

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The purpose of the Account Manager include:

- Existing account management
- Sales Process management
- New business development

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

a) Existing account management

i. Mantaining regular communications with existing customer base with the primary objectives of:
a. Increasing sales revenue

b. Obtaining and reporting accurate forecasts

c. Ensuring customer satisfaction and delight with a high degree of customer experience focus

b) Sales Process Management

i. Manage and input data in internal customer relationship management (CRM) software

ii. Following existing and developing new business processes

iii. Assist with the development and training of new sales and business development hires on processes,

c) New business development

i. Working within an assigned territory, seeking new accounts and conducting prospecting calls.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education in business, food science, nutrition or related field are assets
- 2-5 years sales or account management experience

**CORE COMPETENCIES**
- Aptitude for business development and sales in highly technical dietary supplements and food and beverage.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Team player - able to work effectively in a team environment, understands the needs of the people and the urgencies of meeting timelines
- Proficient using the Microsoft office suite, zoom
- Proficiency in SalesForce an asset

**CONDITIONS OF WORK**
- Office environment and exposure to plant environment,
- Flexible work arrangements - including 4-day work week during July and August,
- Some multi day travel will be required,
- The nature of the business and work environment may affect individuals who are prone to allergies.

**PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Light to Moderate lifting (10-20kg).

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
