**Duties and Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/AP Role**:
This role requires a background in bookkeeping and/or accounting, with opportunity to grow and expand the role over time. Expect to:

- Maintain accounting records on Quickbooks Online
- Reconcile accounts and prepare reports such as P&L and Balance Sheets
- Audit monthly invoices and process payments (AP)
- Coordinate with colleagues in job management and production
- Help analyze cost of goods sold and R&D
- Assist in cross-referencing billing statements with shipments
- Assist with onboarding new hires and running payroll

**Experience and Requirements of the Bookkeeper/AP** **Role**:
We hire based on cultural fit Although education and experience are important for the role, we place a large importance on personal character, drive, and ability. We are looking for someone with:

- Minimum one year of relevant experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounting role
- Post-secondary education
- Detail oriented, fast learner, and technologically inclined
- QBO experience an asset
- Experience with order processing and/or shipping management software an asset
- Positive, upbeat, "can-do" attitude with a penchant for problem-solving and helping others
- A team player, but works well without being micro-managed or given close daily instruction
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Shares our values of personal accountability, positivity, and professionalism
