**Restaurant Supervisor/Server**

We are looking for a **Permanent Full-time Front of House Manager** for our **King St. N. Waterloo location, **who is passionate about people and an expert in providing exceptional guest service. Your primary focus will be to become a trustworthy, loyal and dependable member of the Management team while managing restaurant operations to ensure profitability and superior guest experiences, You will also be accountable for leading the team in a high-volume location with a sense of calmness and professionalism.

**Responsibilities**:

- Train and supervise staff;
- Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth;
- Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to regulations;
- Work closely with all members of the management team to meet revenue objectives;
- Maintain a safe working conditions
- Demonstrate the ability to attract and retain excellent performers and to develop high performing teams;
- Leadership and communication: have a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role models values and practices of the company;
- Proven entrepreneurial spirit through having a presence "on the floor" and in the community;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or business-related field;**
- Minimum 1 year of Supervisor experience within a restaurant environment;
- Restaurant management an asset;
- Strong organizational skills and business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs;
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food, and beverage;
- Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry;
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct others;
- Smart-Serve certified;
- Food Handling certified;
- **This position requires very open availability as shifts will be varying.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
