- Work requires prolonged periods of sitting and screen time (computer work)

Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Experience performing administrative duties in an office environment including: data entry, preparing specialized or highly complex documents, reviewing documentation, as well as manual and electronic file maintenance
- Ability to maintain accuracy with data entry and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and strict timelines
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Strong written communication skills

**Desired**:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engineered drawings, codes and standards, Acts, Regulations, Policies and requirements to determine the acceptance or rejection of permits, licences and inspections
- Experience working in a regulatory office environment providing services to the public
- Knowledge of the geographical locations of various cities, towns, villages and municipalities of Manitoba to assist in scheduling multiple inspections
