**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets, ensuring accuracy of hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Calculate and process payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks to employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
- Assist with year-end payroll processing and reporting requirements
- Assist in any other necessary bookkeeping functions
**Qualifications**:
- 2 years of experience in payroll processing for 100+ employees
- Proficiency in Jonas Payroll Software would be an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of payroll processing procedures, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to reliably commute to Bathurst and Hwy 7
Must be able to provide reference letters upon request
Work Location: In person
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
