Reporting to Controller, the Accounting Clerk will be mainly responsible for supporting payroll and general accounting activities. As an **on-site** position, this opportunity is excellent for someone who aspires to work in accounting as it provides a variety of exposure that will kick-start your career. You’re a self starter, you pride yourself on catching the details and you understand the importance of providing responsive service to those in the organization.

How You Contribute
*
- Calculate and process semi-monthly staff payroll
- Manage employee holiday records, timesheets, and benefits
- Process and file ROEs, payroll tax, and WorkSafeBC remittances
- Maintain and update staff records
- Process ad-hoc payroll adjustment.
- Accounting for credit cards, expense accounts and payroll entries;
- Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts before entry into Quickbooks Enterprise
- Review, validate and enter employee expense reports and reconcile credit cards
- Assist with collection of overdue accounts
- Other ad-hoc tasks or projects

**What You Bring**
- 1 year of accounting or administrative experience in manufacturing business or high-volume transaction business.
- Degree or diploma in accounting/finance
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel)
- Salesforce and MRP/ERP experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience in a multi-currency manufacturing company would be considered an asset
