Inside Sales Representative

Centrally located in Toronto, Canada, Viscor is a division of Leviton Manufacturing's Lighting Business Unit operating in Canada for over 70 years.
We are actively seeking a talented Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative with Lighting Experience.

Summary of Position
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop proposals and quotes based upon client needs, specifications, and product offerings
- Enters quotes and sales orders into ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
- Ensures accuracy of quotes and sales orders and that Viscor's Terms and Conditions of Sale are satisfied
- Conduct follow-ups with customers on quotes/sales orders and undertake activities to secure the sale
- Promotes Viscor products and services
- Act as the initial point of contact for all technical related concerns from customers/agents and help resolve technical issues by initially identifying the problem
- Helps identify and develop new sales opportunities and provide analysis on lost opportunities and turn them into wins
- Facilitates expediting by acting as a liaison between customer and production/shipping.
- Cross-reference competitors’ product/catalog codes with Viscor's products
- Provides support to Outside Sales Representatives and Agency Representatives
- Ensure adoption and compliance of CRM tool (Salesforce) and ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
- Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and informed of any changes
- Resolve customers problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solution to solve the issue
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle complaints by sourcing the appropriate solutions and alternatives within a timely manner and follow up to ensure resolution
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Occasional coverage of other customer accounts as required due to vacation or other absences
- All other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Fluent in English - both written and verbal. French a definite asset
- Professional written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers
- Strong knowledge of LED Lighting and Lighting Controls
- Attention to detail and accurate
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services
- Previous experience within a manufacturing industry
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Extensive experience working with operating systems including CRM tool (Salesforce), ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012), and Oracle a definite asset
