The role
- Lead the Supply Chain service team in order to attain the strategic goals within the company and area
- Manage and develop the direct report (Optimization Analyst, Supply Chain service); ensure that they not only understand their job, but also become an effective member of the team
- Lead, support, coordinate, and prioritize the activities of all Supply Chain team members associated (Planner, Demand; Analyst, Inventory Fulfillment; Analyst, Supply Chain) to ensure that they obtain the goal they set
- Develop and mentor the extended Supply Chain team when necessary
- Identify and lead cross-functional process improvements within the Supply Chain function
- Support all the Supply Chain training needs and organize the introduction and training of all new employees
- Identify all support and requests needed by the interrelated teams such as transport and regional operation’s team
- Create a governance of the different parameters for all the Supply Chain systems and implement follow up tools
- Coordinate the India business support team in their activities
- Report on the state of all requests and identify the priority as directed to the Director, Supply Chain and Vice-President, Supply Chain
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, management, or business administration and 3 years related experience in one or more logistics disciplines (physical distribution, inventory management, manufacturing, distribution centre operations management)
- At least 5 years of experience within the Supply Chain function of a large retailer
- Strong teamwork capability
- Superior analytical skills, particularly in the area of financial and strategic analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills and demonstrated ability to support multiple teams at the same time
- Strong project management skills are an asset
- Ability to interface effectively with management at all levels of the organization
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to handle multiple high priority tasks simultaneously in a very dynamic and fast-passed environment
