We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager - Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing product sourcing and inventory management, ensuring that our stores have the right products at the right time.

Job Description:

  • Ensure the optimal supply of products according to store needs, utilizing tools and software effectively
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment and respect purchase order terms
  • Oversee product restocking, considering receiving, storage, and rotation capacities at distribution centers and stores
  • Communicate supplier delivery delays to internal customers and relevant parties when necessary
  • Closely monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock position, inventory budget, service rate, and store/distribution center turnover targets for all products under your responsibility
  • Evaluate suppliers' service and delivery performance for stores and inform stakeholders when intervention is required
  • Perform other related tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations management or supply chain, preferably in the retail industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of databases
  • Certification in APICS, Six Sigma, or other (an asset)
  • Familiarity with JDA (an asset)
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
