We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our incredible Tax team You will be working alongside Tax Managers to help assist with short-term and long-term International, Canadian and US tax projects. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate accounting and reporting of tax accounts. The role is critical in ensuring that the STEMCELL group of companies maintain compliance with tax authorities and other regulatory bodies.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepare legal entity tax filings in Canada, US, International, and other regulatory filings as required including working with internal teams
- Lead preparation of US and Canadian indirect sales tax filings and payments including liaising with third party service providers
- Support global tax planning and process improvement initiatives as well as other related matters on an ad hoc basis, including tax research and audits
- Assist with research and analysis on various tax projects (e.g. entrance into new tax jurisdictions, SR&ED)
- Collaborate with other business units to address indirect tax queries from customers

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience
- Obtained CPA or Chartered Accountant (or in progress)
- Data visualization and automation experience using specific tools (e.g. Alteryx and Tableau)
