**What will you be doing as the Fund Development Manager?**
**Other responsibilities include**:*
**Grant Development (30%)**:
- Identifying new grants and funding opportunities
- Executes on and implements funding decisions; establish metrics and review progress of initiatives and funded programs.
- Develops processes to improve Pride Toronto’s grant management systems, records and overall granting administration.
- Manages the participation of key stakeholders, including but not limited to staff, Board of Directors and Members in the grant review process
- Identify all requirements of grant to ensure all necessary attachments are submitted on time
**Grant Project Management and Reporting (30%)**:
- Responsible for the monitoring, completion and timely submission of accurate financial reports for all grants in their portfolio, including budget allocations, deferred and match funding revenue tracking in liaison with staff.
- Closely monitors project budget spending and cost allocations.
- Manages cost-share allocations in accordance with cost-share projections and allowable expenses.
- Supports the development of new donor project budgets as required.
- Tracks existing and pipeline of all restricted funding
- Leads the development of grants summaries and grants reports
**Collaboration and Partnership Management (20%)**:
- Conducts regular communications with grantees, community stakeholders and beneficiaries and coordinates their continued engagement with Pride Toronto.
- Guides and encourages grant partners to initiate and strengthen cross-sector partnerships and collaboration with other experts in their field.
- Cultivates and maintains a network of grant partners, experts and institutions of relevance to advance the vision and mission of Pride Toronto.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders Pride Toronto, in order to better understand their goals and deliverables in order to collaborate on the execution of various initiatives.
- Assist with festival delivery and ensure any assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner
**Fund Development (20%)**:
- In collaboration with the Director of Development and the Executive Director set funding priorities.
- Develop a phased, multi-year strategy and implement an individual giving program through direct mail, online donations, monthly giving,third-party, and individual major gifts.
- Support the Community Engagement manager with all fundraising aspect related to Charity of Choice
- Lead donation campaign during festival month.
- Develop and implement a corporate giving program.
- Conduct research on individual and corporate funding prospects.
- Develop and implement a donor recognition and cultivation program.
- Manage and foster a relationship with your portfolio of donors and implement a moves management process with key donors.
- Develop all communication materials as required in collaboration with Communications - appeal letters, donor correspondence, case for support, etc.
