Once inside, guests are transported to the 21st century with 47 beautifully appointed guest rooms designed to create a truly alternative hotel experience. The location is at the nexus of 3 distinct neighborhoods. Historic Gastown, trendy Yaletown, and the brand-new development of “Amazon YVR HQ” and “The Post Building”, all within walking distance. The shopping district of Robson street and the entertainment sector of Granville are also just minutes away.

**The Victorian**, a 47 room boutique-style hotel property is actively looking for an energetic, individual to join our international team as a full-time **Front Desk Agent / Concierge.**

Good communication skills and a positive attitude are essential as well as the ability to work daytime or evening shifts.

**Job Duties**:

- Provide a warm welcome and able to professionally check guests in and out
- Knowledgeably answer inquiries on hotel services, as well as attractions and services available in the area
- Assisting guest reservations and giving local recommendations (Local knowledge is an asset)
- Accurately complete reports and shift deposit
- Professional personal appearance
- Remain current on room rates, room availability, groups, events to facilitate reservations
- Actively participate in creating and maintaining a COVID safe workplace
- Minimum 1-year experience working at a Hotel or Resort.
- Understand the importance of guest service experience
- Excellent time management
- Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities
- Enthusiastic and focused to exceed guest expectations
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- German is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
