**Responsibilities**:

- Enforce Ritestart Limited’s Health and Safety Program and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation for Construction Projects at all times.
- Provide leadership, honesty, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
- Motivate subcontractors and own forces to work safely, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Conduct quality control checks on all work, ensuring compliance with client and consultant requirements.
- Review contract documentation thoroughly to understand project scope and requirements.
- Problem-solve issues as they arise, collaborating with the Project Management team for quick resolutions.
- Maintain project schedule adherence, making adjustments as needed in coordination with the project management team.
- Prioritize maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, subtrades, and local authorities.
- Organize and lead regular trade and safety meetings.
- Keep the project site safe, organized, and clean with proper signage to reflect company professionalism and COR standard.
- Occasionally perform physical labor as required to support project completion.
- Fulfill any other duties as requested.

**Desired Knowledge/Skills**:

- 3-7 years of onsite construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Superintendent role in the ICI Sector.
- College, Technical Degree, or Tradesman Certificate.
- Solid understanding of construction trades and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, shop drawings, and provide layout.
- Up-to-date safety training including Working at Heights, WHMIS, MOL 5 Steps, and First Aid/CPR is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Present a professional demeanor when dealing with owners and consultants
- Experience managing laborers, sub-trades, and suppliers.
- Willing to work out of town, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Strong attention to detail.
