Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software/systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Perform regular inventory audits and upon approval reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Perform physical inventories and cycle counts for raw materials and Kanban list
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Assist logistics coordinator in overseeing shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documents, and arranging transportation logistics.
- Inspect and verify the quality, quantity, and condition of incoming and outgoing products.
- Communicate with management to ensure that potentially compromised products are removed and placed in a secured quarantine area for assessment.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.
- Identify and report obsolete or slow-moving inventory items and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and labeling of products.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as an inventory controller or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with shipping documents and transportation logistics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment.
