**Job Overview**
We are seeking a trustworthy customer-oriented Art Associate to join our team. As an Art Gallery Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, offering them a memorable and enriching experience. You will play a key role in driving sales, auction events, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the gallery operates smoothly.

**Duties**

**Customer Engagement**: Greet and assist visitors, providing knowledgeable information about artworks, artists, and gallery exhibitions.

**Sales**: Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, present artwork, and facilitate sales transactions.

**Client Relations**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including following up on leads and managing client inquiries.

**Gallery Presentation**: Ensure the gallery space is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing. Assist with the setup and breakdown of exhibitions.

**Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage gallery inventory, including artworks and sales materials. Assist with stock management and reporting.

**Event Support**: Support gallery events and openings, including setup, guest management, and post-event activities.

**Administrative Duties**: Perform administrative tasks such as processing sales, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.

**Qualifications**

**Experience**: Previous experience in art sales or gallery related work is preferred but not required.

**Knowledge**: A passion for and knowledge of art, art history, and current trends is highly desirable.

**Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients. Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.

**Detail-Oriented**: Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

**Flexibility**: Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and during special events as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
