**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create business plans for achieving goals and set objectives in collaboration with board of directors
- Meet fundraising goals, in partnership with board of directors, through grant writing and securing financial support from foundations, corporations, individual donors, and government funding sources
- Work with staff and board on annual fundraising benefit and additional events, and oversee all external communications, including website, marketing collateral, newsletters, and social media
- Serve as the face of the organisation and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, and market brand, and develop strategic partnerships to further increase community awareness and expand programs
- Manage volunteers and lead an effective team that’s dedicated to fulfilling the organisation’s mission through highly successful programs, community engagement, and fundraising
- Maintain records of beneficiaries, inventory, funds, and volunteer hours for reporting purposes. Prepare monthly reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and community impact.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a nonprofit, community-based, or social service organization.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse communities, particularly the ACB community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google workspace
- Knowledge of food security issues and community resources in Vancouver is preferred.
