**Position Description**:
The Clinical Research Project Coordinator (CRPC) will be responsible for assisting with or coordinating one or more team projects, that will include: longitudinal quantitative and qualitative studies assessing physical and psychological distress (including depression, traumatic stress, physical symptom burden, etc.) in patients with advanced cancer or acute leukemia and distress in their family caregivers; and/or randomized controlled trials evaluating the effectiveness of an individualized psychosocial and palliative care intervention designed to help patients manage the challenges of acute leukemia, and a psychosocial intervention to support their family caregivers. Subject recruitment for these and other team projects takes place in some of the busiest outpatient clinics and inpatient units at The Princess Margaret and the University Health Network (UHN).

**Here’s what you get to do**:
**Specific job duties include**:

- Overseeing more junior study staff
- Attending regular research team meetings
- Preparing study updates and reports
- Completing other tasks as assigned or requested by the study PIs

**Here’s what you need**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; research-related Master's degree in a health sciences or related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical and/or professional experience required (at least 1 year of clinical research experience strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Self-motivated with well-developed leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task & perform in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with participant recruitment, consent and questionnaire administration; qualitative interview experience would be an asset
- Experience with data management software, database set-up (e.g., REDCap), data entry, data management preferred
- Statistical skills and experience using statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS or R) preferred
- Experience with qualitative interviewing, coding, and analysis would be an asset
- Previous experience working in cancer-related research and/or with medically ill patients and their family caregivers would be an asset
