Chau Veggie Express is an award-winning plant-based modern Vietnamese restaurant, located in East Vancouver and inside the Granville Island Public Market. We are a fast-paced restaurant that combines traditional Vietnamese flavours with fresh produce, taking initiative in food security, sustainability, consciousness, and education - one veggie meal at a time.

We are looking for passionate, fun and hardworking people to join our team at Chau Veggie Express who wants to join a supportive and rewarding work environment. **We're looking for someone to fill a part-time - full-time position, splitting their time between our Granville Island location and East Vancouver location where required.**

We are looking for a permenant hire to take on a front of house role within our growing team if it is a good fit. We are a rapidly growing business tapping into multiple sectors of food service, catering and retail and are always looking for people with leadership qualities and specialised skills to help propel us forward.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and fun manner. You are a hardworking and responsible individual with charisma and strong customer service skills
- Showcase leadership qualities to work collaboratively with team members
- Strong menu knowledge, have the ability to answer customer questions
- Make drinks, pack food orders, prep retail items
- Able to learn quick, multi-task, and work well in fast-pace environments
- Use our POS system to take orders and handle money
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
- Open to discussion of various tasks outside of this job description
