**Job Description**:
With immediate effect we are looking for a motivated Global Sales Manager (f/m/x) for our Industrial Solution Line home based in the UK or in any of our other European locations (France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Finland & Sweden).

What your role would look like
- Sells industrial linear accelerators for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) directly to existing and new customers around the globe.
- Manages relationships with existing customers and builds new ones.
- Creates and implements imaginative and unique solutions to our customer’s challenges.
- Builds and manage relationships with current customers and identifies new customers.
- Provides effective company representation and exemplifies Varex professionalism.
- Creates technology overviews, market information, forecasting and reports for the business.
- Engages with, manages, and collaborates with external sales reps around the globe as needed to drive the sales strategy.
- Represent Varex ethics, values, and business practices with all internal and external constituents.

What you should bring with you to join us
- A technical degree in engineering such as the electro-mechanics, industrial engineering or a similar study field
- 5+ years of sound professional experience in global sales in the industrial x-ray scanning business.
- Highly customer focused attitude.
- Articulate and highly skilled in interpersonal communication.
- Proficient in utilizing typical business tools.
- Proficient experience with SAP and Sales Force is required.
- Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
- Able to present to all business levels from engineers to executives.
- High collaborative and intercultural skills across countries and divisions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work with and share knowledge with others on the team.
- Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 70%).
- Native or business fluency in in English, both written and spoken - any other language would be a plus.
- Experience in working in global matrix organization would be a plus.
- Evidence of being self-disciplined, -managed and -motivated.
- First leadership experience would be a plus.
