**Term of Employment: March 8 to March 27, 2023**
**Rate of Pay: $52.49 to $71.41 per hour**
**Location: Henlow Campus and/or remotely, as required**
**Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm**

MITT is seeking Cyber Defence and Cloud Administration Instructors for the following course:
**CDCA-210 Python Scripting - Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm, March 8 - March 27, 2023**
This course offers an in-depth introduction to Python, covering basic data types, control structures, regular expressions, input/output, and textual analysis.

The Cyber Defence and Cloud Administration (CDCA) Post-Secondary Instructor possess the necessary knowledge, passion for their industry, and interpersonal skills to ensure an exceptional educational experience for adult learners. The Cyber Defence and Cloud Administration Post-Secondary Instructor will inspire and engage students through teaching relevant industry-specific content, using applicable learning, evaluation, assessment methodologies and technologies while fostering effective learning environments. Students graduating from the program will be confident and knowledgeable in both technical and soft skills, allowing for personal and professional growth, and leading to success in their current or future careers.
As a role model for students, and as an ambassador for MITT, the Instructor is committed to professionalism, leadership and continuous improvement of their instructional skills and resource materials. They place value in strong working relationships and strive to build trust and effective communication in the workplace.
The Cyber Defence and Cloud Administration Post-Secondary Instructor recognizes that an outstanding student experience is not restricted to the classroom. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
**Instruction, Preparation, Planning**
- Instruct course using MITT curriculum; utilize appropriate and creative instructional methods, such as lectures and demonstrations to accommodate the learning styles of individual students; enhancing the student learning experience and ensuring engagement in learning activities;
- uses relevant technology to support instruction; including the use of MITT’s Learning Management System and remote learning tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- continuously checks in with students to ensure they understand course material and are able to retain the information they learned;
- prepares course outlines for approval by the Dean or their designate, including course timetabling within the academic year, learning outcomes, and assessment and evaluations;
- Develops digital instructional resources that allow students unlimited access to learning materials;
- prepares, administers, and evaluates assignments and assessments; provides marks and feedback to students on their assessment items in a timely manner to ensure they have time to learn and improve;
- plans lessons and classroom activities that are linked to the course outline, consistently demonstrating preparedness for class;
- Engage in the utilization of technology to enable early intervention for students at academic risk;
- fosters accountability, teamwork, and collaboration in students, preparing activities that focus on both individual and group work;
- Conduct research related to curriculum; continuously reviews curriculum to ensure its appropriateness and currency; works with MITT’s Educational Technologists, Program Manager, and Academic Coordinator to formalize curriculum changes.
- Implement and adopts curricular changes, willingly adjusting course materials in order to meet Institutional needs.
- Coordinate and capture data for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placements for students, preparing WIL materials, and conducting on-site visits to ensure students are meeting the needs of the placement company/organization.
