**Position Overview**:
As an Outside Sales Representative at BAAN Powertrain, you will be the driving force behind our direct sales initiatives, reaching out by cold calling automotive repair facilities across Canada. Your role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, fostering lasting relationships with new clients, and enhancing our engagement with existing customers. You will also represent BAAN Powertrain at various trade shows nationwide, embodying our values of integrity and passion in every interaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Client Acquisition**: Lead cold-calling efforts to connect with automotive repair facilities across Canada. Understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals to expand our client base.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Engage with existing customers to understand their evolving needs, provide exceptional support, and offer solutions that enhance their business operations.
- **Market Representation**: Represent BAAN Powertrain occasionally at trade shows and industry events across Canada, showcasing our products and services while networking with potential clients and industry stakeholders.
- **Brand Ambassadorship**: Embody the values of BAAN Powertrain, demonstrating integrity, passion, and a commitment to quality in every interaction and representing our brand to the highest standard.
- **Collaborative Teamwork**: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to provide insights from the field, contributing to strategy development and product enhancements.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in cold calling, marketing and client acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, especially in relation to powertrain systems and repair facilities preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Canada and participate in trade shows and industry events.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Commitment to representing BAAN Powertrain with the utmost integrity and passion.
- Bilingualism is an asset as well.
