Toronto, Canada Hayden Charles Dental Care Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform administrative tasks including patient check-in/out, processing insurance claims, reviewing treatment plans, and discussing cost/financing options.
- Maintain a professional reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, considering doctor and staff availability, and manage the appointment calendar.
- Make follow-up appointments as necessary following patient visits or cancellations.
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors warmly to the practice.

**Qualifications**:

- Dentrix experience is essential.
- Background in dental administration is required.
- Canadian experience is preferred.
- Two years of dental administration experience is necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous customer service or patient relations experience, with conflict resolution skills.
- Adaptability to office policy improvements.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with quick and accurate data entry skills for presenting treatment plans to patients efficiently.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in adverse conditions while multitasking.
- Knowledge of Dentrix is considered an asset.
- Proficient organization, communication, and computer skills are required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
