Bookkeeper/accounting Clerk

Vancouver, Canada Apextech Fiber Corp. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in managing daily administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel information.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as management, employees, and clients, to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and implement efficient systems.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
