This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely**. **#LI-Remote**

**About The Role**:
The Consultant, Services Scoping role will work closely with Sales and Services leadership, partner with the sales team, and lead in the selling of Vena services solutions to prospects. As a Consultant, Services Scoping, you will be responsible for meeting with prospects, positioning services solutions, and preparing proposals and services contracts. This role will report into the Director of Professional Services responsible for scoping and services solutions.

**What you will do**:

- Be the "Big Picture" services representative who can quickly understand prospect business needs and articulate how the Vena Professional Services team can deliver Customer Success through project delivery
- Partner and collaborate closely with a subset of Vena Area/Regional Sales Managers, taking a solution-oriented approach
- Qualify prospects for Vena packaged services
- Conduct scoping calls that uncover prospects business needs and prepare SOW's or other documents to reflect the Vena services offering
- Support Vena customer events/conferences (Vena 360, Vena Nation, Vena Experience) from a services solutions perspective
- Lead process to enable and educate Sales managers on Professional Services solutions and available packages
- Represent the Professional Services team by diligently assessing risk, estimating consultant work effort, and remaining assertive while representing Services interests.
- Deliver presentations to prospects on Vena methodology, project proposals, roadmaps and visioning sessions
- Negotiate both internally as well as with prospects to arrive at competitive offerings that also meet Vena's business goals
- Drive new methodology enhancements that improve the customer experience and efficiency in the sales cycle
- Drive the initiative to further automate the process for fitting prospects to packages, auto-estimation of low-medium complexity services solutions and improving efficiencies in the sales cycle

**Does this sound like you?**
- 4+ years of experience working in the CPM Industry
- Excellent verbal communication skills over the phone and in person, with a personable and sales-oriented demeanor
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to quickly build creditability with senior management and C-suite Finance stakeholders in sales cycles
- Excellent written communication skills demonstrating accuracy and aesthetic style around SOW's or other documents you prepare as part of sales proposals
- Able to self-manage and work hard while prioritizing demands
- Proficient with influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Able to work in changing and dynamic environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
