Legal Aid Alberta is seeking to fill a full time, Sr. Operation Business Partner - Organizational Change Management in our downtown Edmonton office. **Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director, Operations Justice Services Initiatives, some of the key responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement comprehensive change management methodology, tools and approach to be used consistently for all major projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Accountable for leading strategic messaging and training for impacted team members, internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participate in all major organizational projects and initiatives as LAA’s change management expert, responsible for managing the people dimension of change.
- Lead and direct the business in collaboration with the project team, business leaders, and key stakeholders to assess change readiness, identify potential barriers to change, and develop mitigation strategies to address resistance.
- Accountable for assessing organizational readiness and impact assessments to inform the design, planning and implementation of change on all major projects and initiatives.
- Coach leaders on how to utilize change management tools to effectively manage change initiatives within their respective business units.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and focus groups to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development among end-users, managers, and executives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of change management interventions and training programs through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma in a Business-related field.
- Certified, or working towards obtaining the PROSCI or APMG Change Management Practitioner certification, highly desirable.
- Experience in organizational change management or related field, with 5 to 7 years relevant experience.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Knowledge of LAA’s business processes, policies, and standards preferred.
- Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs and materials.
- Understanding of project management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, consultation, presentation, leadership,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior conceptual, analytical skills and problem-solving proficiency.
- Critical thinking and evaluation.
- Ability to work in a complex and highly dynamic project environment, responsible for multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment; organize work, manage time and priorities and consistently meet deadlines, while working independently
