**Torxen Oil & Gas Ltd.** is a private fast paced, dynamic Oil and Gas company, located in the south-eastern area of Alberta called the Palliser Block, with the better part of 58,000 BOE/day with a diverse product portfolio consisting of a 60% gas and 40% oil production.

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently seeking a motivated **Measurement Analyst** to join our team. Working with the Staff Production Measurement Analyst, the role presents an exciting opportunity to participate in the continued development of our measurement program, with a focus on reporting, data analysis, compliance, and emissions.

Please note this is a hybrid position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with operation teams to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable Measurement and Reporting requirements as per AER Directives 017, 060, and 076.
- Support the Production Accounting team with proper allocation set-up and volumetric reporting.
- Assist in month end processes to Production Accounting and ensure all checks are completed and verified.
- Analyze and troubleshoot volume discrepancies.
- Support the reporting and quantification of Emissions, Carbon Tax, and Carbon Credits.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators related to measurement compliance.
- Assist in regulatory responses involving measurement including EPAP, audits, and field inspections.
- Develop opportunities to optimize and/or reduce the cost of measurement compliance by reviewing day to day measurement related work practices by risk.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience or a degree/diploma in Measurement, Data Analytics, Engineering, Engineering Technology (CET), Instrumentation, (a combination of experience and education will be considered).
- Proven experience in managing large data sets
- Strong understanding of regulatory measurement requirements in Oil and Gas operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Petrinex, and industry related business tools considered an asset.
