Description

Located out of our Calgary office, the interim Analyst will report to the Manager Logistics and Reporting. This important position is a member of the Inter Pipeline (IPL) Transportation team and is responsible for supporting the ongoing safe, reliable, and efficient movement of petroleum products within IPL’s Pipeline systems. The Analyst supports the scheduling, quality, measurement, and volumetric accounting teams.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
• Crude Forecasting and Analysis 
• Product quality management and optimization 
• Support both internal and external stakeholders with key initiatives. 
• Complete daily, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements 
• Support LIMs systems and databases
• Ad-hoc task as assigned. 
• Provide vacation coverage as required

Education, Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary in a related field preferred 
• 3+ years of Analyst experience within scheduling, petroleum quality, measurement, volumetric account team or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills
• Communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Understanding of Crude Qualities 


Full time Monday-Friday 


This position is a 12-18 month contract role located in Calgary, Alberta. 

Working Conditions 
The position will be in our corporate head office in the heart of downtown Calgary, close to the business core and natural attractions of Prince’s Island Park and the Bow River Pathway System. Our space offers employees a great work environment which promotes physical and mental wellness. Primarily, work will be completed in a dedicated cubicle and shared meeting rooms.

As this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
