**Role Description**: As the Manager of our origination analyst team (SDR/BDR equivalent), your role is to empower and coach a team who handle deal development activities for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of analysts who are primarily responsible for written outreach activities for our clients (audience is business owners / C-level execs), from first touchpoint to hand-off to senior origination staff;
- Recruit, train and mentor these analysts in developing advisory and solution-based sales skills;
- Monitor and analyze their performance metrics, pipeline quality, etc.;
- Work closely with the senior origination staff to execute the more challenging, sophisticated, complex, sensitive outreach activities that are beyond the capabilities of junior origination staff; and,
- Develop a deep knowledge of the workings and content of our deal platforms and origination tech stack and recommend improvements.

**Competencies**:

- 2+ years track record managing, growing, coaching and driving an outbound business development team
- A phenomenal learner, listener and translator of best practice and client guidance into action items for their team
- Demonstrated individual track record in all aspects of business development, ideally as an SDR/BDR
- Experience in M&A, capital markets, corporate finance, deal-related consulting, or related fields, is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Law, Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated capacity to think strategically and to display good judgment
- Collaborative, highly motivated and high energy
- Excellent written communication skills
- Good analytical skills and financial acumen
- Advanced proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, a belief that consistent and on-going use of and insights from such platforms benefits a deal process (vs. a burden on time), and high standards for data integrity and completeness
- High standards of professional and ethical conduct.
