**About the Opportunity**:
Currently, Taymor is looking for a full-time **Associate** **Product Manager **to join our team on a full-time basis in **Delta, BC**.

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Associate Product Manager (APM) is responsible for managing the product portfolio and lifecycle of selected product lines and for the project management of new product development, product changes and line extensions. Our products are homeware such as bath, door, locks, etc.

Your responsibilities will include:

- In collaboration with the Product Manager and VP of Category Strategy & Execution, managing the product portfolio and lifecycle of selected product lines including introducing new products, managing overstock or obsolete products
- Working closely with internal cross-functional teams to coordinate appropriate actions in a timely fashion
- Following the processes and best practices in project management to develop and source new products from the idea and research stages through to product launch
- Developing technical information and documentation in collaboration with other internal teams as appropriate
- Working with marketing to develop content to promote new products internally and externally
- Overseeing and managing inputs for data system (ERP), product and competitor databases, and working with internal teams to continually improve processes and technology solutions for product management documentation control, information management, and communications
- Working with the quality manager on quality assurance, and ensuring testing and compliance results are done in a timely fashion and within budget
- Effectively utilizing a broad range of internal communications tools to convey critical product information, including product changes, project status updates, issuing of official bulletins, and participation in sales meetings

**About You**:
To qualify for the role, ideally, you need:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a comparable role

The following skills and experience will be required:

- Fluent use of spoken and written English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work across the organization and influence stakeholders
- Ability to organize and structure own workload
- Ability to effectively communicate and write technical concepts and specifications

The following skills, knowledge, and certifications will be considered an asset:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- AIPMM Certified Product Manager certification
- Industry-specific relevant certifications (e.g. Door Hardware, Plumbing)
- Experience with ERP systems
- Building products industry knowledge
- New graduates with a background in business analysis, product marketing, or product development, who are good communicators and quick learners are also encouraged to apply._
