Customs Compliance Supervisor

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the auditing of customs files to ensure compliance with regulations.
- File entry adjustments and manage reporting on accuracy and error trends.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce systematic errors.
- Ensure that clients' databases are up-to-date with correct HS, FTA and GST information.
- Implement and manage Quality Control (QC) cases to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Oversee and ensure the effective management of the FTA compliance program.
- Collaborate closely with an Audit Specialist and a Tariff Specialist to complete daily tasks and maintain high standards.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5-10 years in the customs brokerage industry.
- **Certifications**:CCS designation or CTCS is required.
- **Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of General Interpretive Rules for Tariff Classification, Explanatory Notes, and D-Memos.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
