**Compliance and Quality Control Supervisor**
**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Regulatory Compliance**:
- Stay up-to-date with all regulations, licensing requirements, and guidelines set forth by relevant authorities such as the Fraser Health Authority, CCOF, the fire department, and employment standards.
- Ensure that all daycare operations always adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits, promptly addressing any concerns or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning personal to ensure facilities are up to standard
**Quality Control**:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of care, facility integrity, parental involvement, and education for children.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular staff performance assessments and provide guidance and training to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to review and update curriculum, activities, and resources to enhance the overall quality of childcare services.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies summarizing compliance status, audit findings, and quality control measures.
- Ensure all required documentation, including staff qualifications and certifications, health and safety records, and child enrolment information, is complete and up-to-date.
- Complete payroll and maintain accurate records.
- Complete CCOF, WE, and ACCB reports monthly.
**Communication and Training**:
- Communicate compliance requirements and quality standards effectively to staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to staff members on compliance-related topics, including health and safety protocols, child supervision, and emergency procedures.
- Serve as a resource for staff members, answering questions and addressing compliance and quality assurance concerns.
**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for daycare operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
