Through our focus on life style change & cardiac rehabilitation, we will work with you to develop a comprehensive plan to help protect you from cardiovascular illness or recover from it should it pre-exist.

Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre is currently seeking a FULL-TIME Medical Office Administrator

**Job Type / Category**

**Major Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Office Administrator**
- Greeting & arriving patients.
- Booking and confirming appointments.
- Instructing patients on different tests.
- Answering Phones on a multi-line phone system
- Computer proficiency
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient encounters in a timely manner.
- Working knowledge of medical clinic / cardiology testing
- Working in a team environment
- Must be willing to work weekends.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be a Graduate of a **Medical Office Administration** program from an accredited college. New graduates will be considered.
- This is an **ENTRY LEVEL** position.
- Proficiency in computer scheduling, software & prior experience with EMR (electronic medical record)
- Fluent in Medical terminology (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of Cardiac terminology and experience working with Cardiac patients
- CPR and First Aid certification Required; Must be up-to-date with COVID vaccinations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), telephone communication skills, and customer service skills essential
- Able to perform well with mínimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, while demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to prioritize workload and function independently in a busy environment
- Must be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Must be able to diplomatically respond to patient requests in a busy environment
- Demonstrate public relations skills and the ability to diplomatically respond to physician, staff, and family inquiries in a demanding work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
