We are a boutique law practice dedicated exclusively to Canadian and U.S. corporate and securities law matters. The practice includes a full range of public company services from initial and alternative public offerings to private placements of equity and debt securities and other financing transactions, the continuous disclosure obligations of public companies reporting with Canadian and U.S. securities regulators, as well as listings in Canada and the U.S. and on international securities exchanges (in collaboration with a broad network of law firms).

We have a particular depth of experience in mergers and acquisitions and in that regard have represented business entities based in Canada, the United States and internationally in domestic and cross-border business combinations. The firm's clients operate in a variety of industries such as financial services, resource exploration and development, blockchain, telecommunications and biotechnology, and include financial market intermediaries, funds, and publicly held corporations.

As an OTCQX Sponsor, the firm is keen to assist Canadian and internationally listed companies with inter-listings in the U.S. and attendant DTC eligibility.

**Job description**
- We are looking for a corporate securities lawyer to join our team.
- In terms of character, professionalism and a friendly and constructive disposition are a must.
- You would be able to work remotely. The compensation arrangement is flexible.
- Licensing in additional jurisdictions (including U.S. states, England and Wales., Hong Kong and Australian states) is preferred but not necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
- Practice experience in corporate law or securities law.

**Compensation**
- Percentage of billings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
