Day Camp Program Support Coordinator will support the quality and integrity of Day Camp programs across all locations. This role is essential in assisting with the set-up, training, and ongoing support of Day Camp programs, ensuring that program manuals are followed and that camp locations are properly equipped with the necessary supplies and resources. In addition, the Day Camp Program Support Coordinator will help with warehouse inventory, pack program kits, and assist in monitoring the program budget. Responsibilities include facilitating staff training, contributing to the development of new activities, and ensuring that Health & Safety procedures are maintained.

**In this role, you will**:

- Support inventory management and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and easy access to supplies
- Pack all program camp kits for all camp locations and assist with move-out and move-in processes
- Support Camp Directors in ensuring camps run programs according to program manuals and meet expectations while visiting camp locations
- Provide feedback through evaluations to Camp Directors and ensure all documentation is kept and organized for referral
- Plan, develop, and facilitate program training for program delivery to all camp staff
- Provide specialized program delivery at assigned camp locations, including outdoor activities such as wood burning and/or specialized art programs like imprinting and cooking, to ensure high-quality programming
- Develop high-quality Day Camp programs by collaborating with the Day Camp leadership team to identify new activities and update program manuals
- Achieve assigned budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure purchases are within camp budget. Submit all invoices weekly for timely processing.
- Contribute to fostering a positive camp environment by demonstrating teamwork, supporting colleagues, and actively sharing responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized day camp warehouse
- Attend all staff trainings and meetings, arrive on time, and actively participate in the development of all camp staff
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and maintained, and contribute to the cleaning, safety, and maintenance of camp sites and offices.
- Act as a positive role model for campers and fellow staff by embodying YMCA values, policies, procedures, Day Camp conditions of employment/guidelines, and Ontario Camping Association standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**You bring**:

- Post-secondary education (or currently enrolled) in child, youth, or recreation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-year experience in recreation or child-oriented programs
- Experience with YMCA Day Camps is an asset
- Experience in warehouse and program training is an asset
- Daily access to a vehicle, valid license, and the ability to travel within your assigned region and to and from the warehouse
- Ability to use frequent light to medium physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs. by bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
