- Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounting Technician will support the team in all tasks related to accounting operations. The accounting technician will be in support mode on certain tasks and will have his/her own projects and analyses to coordinate.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform month-end and year-end activities: accounting and reconciliation of accounts for Canadian and American companies;
- Perform various tasks related to the processing of cash, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable and accounts payable mainly;
- Perform Canadian and foreign sales tax reports;
- Assist the accounts receivable and payable clerks when necessary;
- Assist with year-end files;
- Prepare banking transactions;
- Do bookkeeping for a management company;
- Prepare various month-end reports for government authorities;
- Perform any other related tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Holds a DEP or DEC in accounting;
- Has 2 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knows SAP software (an asset);
- Knows the ERP computer environment and masters Excel spreadsheets;
- Communicates fluently in French and English, both orally and in writing;
- Be a versatile person with a desire to learn;
- Possesses a strong sense of ethics and integrity, good judgment and impeccable discretion;
- Be recognized as a team player.
