The Sudbury Women's Centre is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing information, referral, and support services to women, girls, trans and non-binary people who have been impacted by violence and/or difficult life circumstances. Our Centre is a place to start to support women, offering key tools and resources that assist in addressing issues of systemic discrimination and violence. **Job Summary**:
The Fundraiser Assistant is responsible for administrative support to development team. The Fundraiser Assistant also participates in all fundraising activities, including assisting in planning and executing fundraising events, donor relations, and direct mailings. Primary duties include working with development team and executing the fund development plan. They will also assist in day-to-day activities and operations including answering the phone and relevant administrative duties. This position is 32 hours per week at $15.50/hour. The funding for this project is brought to you by Canada Summer Jobs. Estimated start date July 4th - August 31st.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and
- Must be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations. _International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents._
