**Job Title**:
Saskatoon Coordinator

**Positions**

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
The purpose of this position is to work with the Manager of the Support Program to oversee the Support Program in the Saskatoon/Regina office and supervise the Support Program staff.

**Reports to**:
This job incumbent reports to the Manager of the Support Program.

Justice Support Workers
Provincial Support Workers
Intensive Support Workers
Potential to supervise students

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Human Resource Management**
- Provide supervision and guidance to their respective team of Support Workers
- Oversee case management and support services provided by team
- Assist with reviewing timesheets and expense claims when requested by the Manager of the Support Program
- Assist the Manager of the Support Program with recruiting and training new hires
- Assist the Manager of the Support Program with performance evaluations and any human resource matter

**Case Management Duties**
- Assist Support workers in identifying areas of needs for clients and families
- Conduct regular meetings to coordinate responsibility for all aspects of the case plan while avoiding duplication and fragmentation.
- Ensure record documentation and handling is consistent with program policies
- Compile quarterly reports and additional reporting as required
- Perform specialized evaluations when necessary; identify complex problems and assist the Support Worker in navigating these files.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of and relationship with community resources.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties related to services provided through the program.
- Provide one-on-one support and case management to complex case files. Including:

- Developing support plans
- Providing education around FASD
- Attending meetings and appointments with families as needed
- implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations that will increase the chances for success in the home, community, school or workplace
- Make referrals to service providers
- Engaging with regional community professionals to educate them about the FASD and the FASD Network.
- Creating partnerships with professionals working to provide guidance and strategies that are FASD-informed.
- Develop and maintain a network of referral and community connections, related to the justice system and community agencies.
- Provide advocacy on behalf of families to ensure appropriate service provision
- Assist with Caregiver, Peer or Youth Support Meetings as needed

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Complete reporting as directed
- Provide assistance with all special projects undertaken by the organization
- Respond to calls on the toll-free line
- make referrals and take action as necessary.
- When requested, deliver educational presentations and group training on behalf of the Network.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Finance and Marketing Director, Manager of the Support Program, or Training Manager.

**Other Requirements**
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as the position requires
- Travel may be expected, including overnights
- Must have access to a vehicle

**Qualifications**:

- Previous management or supervision of staff is required
- Knowledge of FASD is an asset
- Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft and Google Suite.
- Understanding of and/or Experience with Trauma-informed and harm-reduction practice
- Ability to Work Independently and with a Team
- Detail Oriented and Organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
