Humber River Health (HRH) is a prominent healthcare facility in Canada, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, catering to a wide range of medical needs. It serves a diverse population of over 850,000 individuals residing in the northwest Greater Toronto Area. HRH operates 722 acute inpatient beds with 3,400 staff, approximately 700 physicians, and over 1,000 volunteers. HRH currently includes the Wilson site, a 656-bed full service acute care facility that opened in 2015, and the Finch and Church sites, known as the "Reactivation Care Centres” (RCCs). The RCCs represent a unique partnership among multiple hospitals in the GTA with a focus on high quality patient recovery. A 356-bed long-term care facility “Humber Meadows” has recently opened at the Finch Avenue site.

**Department and Program Overview**
The Department of Paediatrics at HRH has a team of close to thirty (30) paediatricians who provide high quality speciality integrated inpatient and outpatient care.
Our inpatient services are offered in our state-of-the-art Level 2C Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 12 in-patient beds. The department supports the needs of the Emergency Department, the Mother-Baby Unit and Surgical Daycare.
Our large Paediatric Outpatient Clinic offers a variety of general pediatric consultations and subspecialty services from the following clinics: Allergy, Asthma, Audiology, Bilirubin, Cardiology, Feeding, GI, Neonatal Follow-up, Neurology, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy and Orthopedic.
**Position Summary**
**Qualifications**
The successful applicant must be a qualified medical practitioner that holds, or is eligible to hold, a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Paediatrics and/or one of its specialties, and be a member of, or eligible for membership, with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
