**What you'll be doing as an IT Technical Support Specialist....**

Reporting to the IT Systems Administrator, the successful IT Technical Support Specialist will help with installing and configuring of software and hardware, set up accounts and work stations, and troubleshoot issues and outages. Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls for Canstar Restorations as well as ABK and Norhaz. They will be responsible for IT Support and setting up new employees.

**_ Responsibilities..._**
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

**_Requirements..._**
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills ITIL Certification

**Nice to Have....**
- Knowledge of AWS
- Experience with ERPor large scale systems implementation support
- Experience with CRM

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in a computer-related field (Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent)
- Minimum two years technical and systems management experience required
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- The passion to learn, share knowledge, and grow

***Where**

Coquitlam Head Office: 78 Fawcett Road (next to the Hard Rock Casino)

***When**

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
- This position does have a component of after hours on-call shifts on a rotation basis. Industry is 24/7 and some after hours work is expected.
