Working alongside our member agencies, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Toronto (CCAT) strives to address emerging community needs by collaborating with like-minded organizations. CCAT work is guided by Catholic Social Teachings and focuses on safeguarding life, respecting the dignity of every person, and building a just society.

We are currently searching for a dynamic and dedicated volunteer to join our team to provide research support to CCAT staff. We support, and learn from one another. If you’re interested in contributing your time for positive change in the community, we want to hear from you
- **What you'll get to do**:_
- Assist with researching priority social issues impacting the marginalized communities in the GTA.
- Assist with exploring the impact of the intersectionality of social issues impacting the marginalized communities in the GTA.
- Assist with the writing of briefs and/or reports.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of meetings and in the identification of potential speakers.
- Actively participate in ongoing team meetings.
- **What you need to know/have**:_
- Completed or working toward a post-secondary education in the social sciences or social work.
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Excellent writing and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

**Location**:in-person at 1155 Yonge Street, Suite 400, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1W2

**Time Commitment**:7- 14 hours per week for long term commitment ideal, 6 months or more

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 14 per week
