You’ll work closely with our developers in testing the quality of software features and continually improving our ability to verify the quality of our products and services. You will be responsible for learning enough about the system to develop testing strategies and tools throughout the stack.

**Responsibilities**:
- Primarily responsible for testing product workflows to discover defects in features before launching- Simulate production testing scenarios- Analyze new feature specifications to create test cases or to supplement/improve existing tests- Work with developers and other team members to prioritize and fix software/workflow issues- Log defects for tracking & reporting using JIRA- Validate the behavior of software on a variety of operating systems and hardware- Work with within an agile team on improving quality assurance processes and be an ambassador for quality

Minimum Qualifications- 5 + years of experience working in animation, vfx, film or games production (e.g., experience using Maya, Houdini, or similar 3D packages), ideally as a Pipeline TD- Solid understanding of production pipeline workflows in vfx, film, tv and/or games- Strong spoken & written communication skills- Excellent time-management skills, adaptability, and ability to prioritize tasks- Laser focused on customer satisfaction, keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities- Degree in computer sciences, software engineering or related field is an asset

Preferred Qualifications- Experience with programming in python, or C++, or Mel is an asset- Familiar with Windows, Linux and MacOS- Familiar with development tools like Jira, Github, Testrail, Jenkins- Working experience in JS, Python or other modern programming language- Experience in software quality assurance

En tant que membre de notre équipe Data Platform, vous travaillerez auprès de l’équipe de développement pour créer la prochaine génération de solutions qui rassemblent des équipes créatives pour travailler efficacement, donner le meilleur d’elles-mêmes et avoir une incidence sur des millions de personnes. Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devrez aimer transmettre votre expertise production d'outils techniques pour les domaines du film, effets visuels, animation et jeu video.

Responsabilités- Responsable du développement et de l’exécution de plans de test de haute qualité pour offrir une expérience utilisateur de haut niveau- Isoler et consigner les défauts détaillés dans Jira pour le suivi et la production de rapports; travailler avec l’équipe Agile pour hiérarchiser et identifier les risques- Développer, exécuter et optimiser des stratégies de test qui ont le rendement du capital investi (RCI) le plus élevé- Effectuer des tests fonctionnels (interface graphique et données), des tests de régression, une intégration continue du système et des tests périodiques de vérification de version (« smoke test ») dans le cadre de chaque cycle de lancement de produit-
- Valider le comportement du logiciel sur une variété de navigateurs et de systèmes d’exploitation- Travailler avec l’équipe Agile pour améliorer le processus d’assurance qualité et être un(e) ambassadeur(rice) de la qualité

Exigences mínimales- 5 ans et plus d’expérience professionnelle en studio de production pour les médias et divertissements (animation, jeu vidéo, effets visuels, etc.) idealement en tant que directeur technique- Expérience pratique avec Maya ou Houdini (ou logiciel 3D similaire)- Excellentes compétences de communication écrite et verbale- Expérience de travail sur Windows, Mac, Linux- Bonnes compétences en gestion du temps, adaptabilité et capacité à faire plusieurs tâches en même temps/prioriser ses tâches- Minutie, bonnes capacités d'analyses et orienté sur le détail- Fortes habiletés de résolution de problèmes
